Day with Daddy

On Cinco de Mayo, I had an interview at Loyola and Pat was able to spend some time with Alex. During these "Daddy times," I am often surprised what pictures I find on my camera (the fingerprints) . Alex can be a very demanding photographer (needless to say, I have TONS of pictures of his toys).

Also...if you get a chance.. ask Pat about the Car trip the preschool and the word Alex picked up ;)

So...his father's son

In cleaning out a closet, Alex found my sister's corset for her wedding dress. Here are a few candids :) He is truly his father's son!

In Dallas

It has been a great time in Dallas with Pat! Saturday we went to the Grapevine mall and walked around for 4 hours (hehehe) and then Sunday afternoon we went to explore the Forth Worth Stockyards. The pictures will show a cattle auction, the "thrilling" cattle run through the stockyards, and dinner at Rickey's Saloon. A nice time but the company is MUCH better :)

Dear Daddy,

Since the government will not allow you to access my web albums (when you are sooo far away, for soo long a time), Mommy and I decided to add more pictures of ME :) This way you can see me and see what a big boy I am!

Love,
Alex

Thursday

1:30am....fire bell goes off....twice...why....we have no clue. There was a strong storm overhead but everyone survived. Alex slept with me....rather he fell asleep at 2am, 4:30am I woke up to feet in my face and 6:30 (another siren alarm) his smiling face. An interesting morning.

We were again at the beach. Only this morning, on one of Alex's independence walks (he would run away and tell me to go the other way), we met another 2 year old, Kyle. Alex and Kyle played ball and tractors. They enoyed talking to each other and had to be carried away to be seperated.

During nap, Daddy joined us after a morning with a FBI agent. Alex was very excited to see his Daddy and Daddy was excited to be able to de-stress. That evening, we all tried to play mini-golf but Alex put an end to that on the 3rd hole. So we left and went back to condo. Alex, Pat and I then went to the neighborhood park and played on the equipment.

Day with Daddy

Today Alex and Pat had the day to themselves, since Tara was closed. Alex was left a lone for a "short" amount of time and this is what Pat found:

Alex + Butt Cream = messy messy messy :)
