New videos

Some new videos (located on the sidebar) have you uploaded to YouTube! Enjoy and feel free to comment :)

Pumpkin Carving

Tonight, Alex and Abuelo carved a pumpkin. Above is a video and pictures from the event. Unfortunately, I am trying to upload it over a dial-up connection...we shall see how it goes :)

update...my first 2 attempts were failures. But because Tia wants the video up, I will try to convert it to a smaller file. If that doesn't work (sorry Tia and Pat...), I will upload it from El Vista tomorrow night.

And now the El Vista update (wow! this went smoother!)... the smaller version is below but the larger version is in youtube :)

Update

Alright... the web album to the left is updated with pictures from the Air Show.

Pat has a job offer at the Fairfax, VA immigration office.

And here's a link for a current video of Alex: http://videomail2.comcast.net/vm/vm_player?vmfile=43ba1201a6ee38b46d20fed26ede0e3d&vmpid=1004

New Video

So I have been playing around on the Internet again, shocking, I know.. but I found this cool website that I will be using with my students. www.animoto.com

I was able to create this cool video with Alex's still pictures. It's great! Check it out on the video bar.

Pirate Movie

After 2 failed attempts, and family issues, I finally edited the puppet movie and uploaded it to YouTube.

It plus a few other movies are located at the bottom of the blog. Please feel free to leave any comments on videos or new website updates :-)

Technology...isn't it fun?

Ok...there's no audio (and please ignore my pj look) but I will work on that. Last night Pat and I were cleaning out the computer area and he found the webcam. So I decided to hook it up and put it to good use. However, I cannot get the microphone to work. Until it works... give us a call to hear the voice behind the movement :-)

Another new technology, I decided to stop updating Alex's Webpage on the Temple Server. So my new plan is to use Picasa's Web Album. At the bottom of the page, you will see a link to some Christmas pictures. Since someone voted for pictures (can't imagine who that was... Abuelo!), I won't stop putting them on the web but will move them to a different location. I hope it is not too much of a bother! A neat thing about Picasa's Web Album is that you can view all the pictures as a slideshow. You'll have to let me know if you like it :)
