Gone...
Today. Pat left for Dallas, Texas for 5 weeks and 1 week in Kansis City, MO. Thankfully, he arrived safely and now we have 47 days 'wil we see each other again.
Done
It's done... I am no longer teaching! Craziness..especially after all the schooling and 6 years doing it.
However, all aspects seem to be responding positively. Alex is a much happier and everyone else is happier too :) Alex and I have been able to help Abuela out at the Market and do household chores.
Now we have to work on getting out of the Aston apartment and get ready for Pat's departure for 6 weeks training in Texas. Plus find some way to make Pat's 2+ hour commute to Fairfax a bit less...
The fun never ends :-)

Quick update
Alright...life has been a little crazy...
Pat--started working in Fairfax, VA on September 15th. He seems to enjoy working for Homeland Security except for the 1.5 hour commute to work and the 2 hour commute coming home. We found out Friday, that he will be leaving for training in Texas on October 13th and will return on Nov. 29th.
Alex--does well at daycare but has a tough time going to and coming. He has an hour commute where he eats breakfast and snack and watches movies (thanks for the mini-DVD player, pat!). However, he does not nap at daycare and is a cranky little monkey in the evening.
Becky-- has resigned her position at Boonsboro HS (last day, Sept. 29th). There is an interview scheduled for Oct. 6th at Franklin and Marshall College for Instructional Technology position.
Overall...lots of things to do... decide where to move, clean out apartment, birthday parties and get togethers....hopefully more frequent updates to come.

End of summer
Since we have been staying at Abuelos, the pool has been a fun time. However, 2 weeks ago, it was time to close the pool. Alex LOVED helping to drain the water from the pool using the hoses. He was playing "fireman".
Pre-School
On September 9th, Alex started preschool. He attends Heavenly Sent day care in Boonsboro, MD. Overall, drop off is horrible but when I pick him up after work he wants to hang around and play. Alex has his own back pack and lunchbox and seems to enoy "going to school" and "playing with kids".
Abuela's Birthday
On Abuela's birthday, we went to Mammaw's for Dinner. Hopefully Abuela had a good birthday (9-2)
