Earth Day Adventure

Yesterday for Earth Day, Alex and I got outside and picked up trash along the road. We picked up a lot of bottles and glass. Alex enjoyed putting on his boots and wading through the springs to pick up the trash.

Jacob's 1st Birthday Party!

Today, my little family went to the Pike to celebrate Jacob's 1st Birthday! Alex had fun playing with all of Jacob's friends and Jacob enjoyed playing with Alex's John Deere tractor and his cake! It was a fun time :)

Preschool Wk 2

Here is a picture of Alex's work from Preschool. He had show and tell this week and seems to be adjusting fairly well.

Thanks, Mimi!

Thanks Mimi for the Zoo set! I am really having fun with it and the Easter presents (though I won't lay still for a photo).

It was great to see you 2 weekends in a row! Hopefully I'll see you again soon!

Thanks, Pattersons!

For the cool Diego rescue truck! We keep finding new things it does and ways to play with it.

It was also great to see you a lot the other weekend. I had a lot of fun playing. We'll have to do it again soon :)

Thanks again, Adam, Angie, Will and Norah!

Easter Morning

Easter Morning, Alex slept in after all the excitement in West Chester! He was excited by his Easter basket and then did a GREAT job finding all the eggs. Here's a link to the morning pictures... more will probably come :) http://picasaweb.google.com/rcbc180/Easter09?feat=directlink

Elephants

Saturday, while in West Chester, we had lunch with Gramps. My perfect shot came when all the Carr boys decided to be elephants :)

First Day of School

April 6th, after the crazy weekend, Alex started preschool at the YWCA of Gettysburg. Alex is in the Jelly Bean program that runs from 9am-12pm every day. This allows Alex to interact, learn and have swimming lessons and me to work and exercise.

Time with Will

April 4th was not the most exciting day for the Donaldson family but Alex spend the morning with Will and Norah at their grandma's house. Alex had a BLAST :)

Doctor's Apt.

On April 2nd, Alex and Pat went to the doctor's. He is in the 85% range in height and weight. Alex weighs 36lbs and is 39 in. tall.

Thanks, Aunt Megan & Kate

UPS also delivered Aunt Megan and Aunt Kate's present :) It was a Diego Rescue Train. It is nice and portable and Alex enjoys taking it outside to play.

Thanks, Tia and Joe!

On Thursday, the UPS guy made 2 deliveries. One was from Tia and Joe. Alex did real well helping to open the box, opened his hats and then we found the card. While he was opening the card, I took the other present (geotrax) out of the box. Once Alex realized he had another present, he dropped the card and begrudgingly picked it back up when we told him "card first". After ripping most of the envelope off, Alex dropped the card and grabbed the present. He was very excited to see Ol' Rust and Tex :)

The banned toy...

Normally, I am pretty good with loud and noisy toys...however, my Mom found the 1 toy that is TOO loud. For Alex's birthday, my parents got him a Medic Car with flashing lights and a LOUD siren. After the second day, it has been banned to the outside toy bin :)
