Wow...what a backlog of pictures to post. Sorry for totally missing November and December...but we really have been busy.
Aside from the new house.... we are expecting Carr 2.1 in June 2010.
Over Thanksgiving, I had the swine flu but was fortunate enough to be the only one in the family to get sick. Pat was able to take off work without penalty and take care of Alex during this time. Unfortunately, since I am pregnant, the medical options were limited and the flu also morphed into a painful sinus infection. This took over a week to clear up...
Then, in December, we had freak weather that hindered us from moving into the house prior to Christmas. Plus, I (again the only one) had another sinus infection with a 10 day course of antibiotics (truly missing the zpack!). So, I was very useless in moving in but thankfully, Abuelos and Pat were great with moving and we were able to spend our first night, in the house, on Christmas Eve. The weekend after Christmas, Pat was able to visit West Chester and with the help of his friend, John, they were able to get our furniture (bye bye folding chairs!). As of today, Dec. 30th, all the boxes are unpacked, most of the furniture is in place, and we only have a few remaining items to move in...
Wow...what a busy end to 2009 :)

Donaldson Christmas
Christmas Brunch
To keep from traveling on Christmas morning, we had Abuelos, Tía, Joe, Magnee, Pap and Mammaw over for brunch. Without a stove, we were able to provide waffles, bacon, sausage, juice and other goodies for a filling lunch :)
After brunch, we moved out the folding chairs and opened some presents. The big fun seemed to be the reacting T-Rex.
Christmas Morning
2nd snow storm
The weekend after we closed on the house, we went to West Chester to try to move our furniture from Mimi's basement. However, this weekend, the Philadelphia area had 20 inches of snow (the worst snow storm in 50 years....).
Needless to say, we did not get the furniture but had a lovely snowy weekend with Mimi :)
Back in Fairfield, Alex and Zoë had some fun in the 15 inches.

Our Tree
So, we closed on our first house on Dec. 11th, in Gettysburg, PA. That weekend, we had an ice storm but we were able to at least get our tree setup for the holidays.

November's Creations
Things have been busy but so has Alex. In November, Alex has continued to be busy with taking pictures and designing culinary delights.
