3 Kings' Day

This year we had a scaled down verison of 3 kings day (no piñata or Dora or King's bread...) but Alex seemed to enjoy it. He even was able to relate it to the Kings bringing Jesus gifts.

Painting Progress

In January, we have embarked on a painting/making the house our own. It was involved ripping down wall paper, washing, dusting, moving things, and painting. I do most of the prep work (that does not involve a ladder) and Pat paints. This has been our weekend project... Progress has been made and we might be done by Alex's 4th birthday in April :)

It's crazy to say "our backyard" but we start mortage payments this month :) It needs some work... (grass, fence, garden, clothesline) but that might need to wait for warmer weather :)
