Birthday evening

On April 1st, in the evening, Magnee, Pap, and Mammaw came up for Diego cake and ice cream.

The banned toy...

Normally, I am pretty good with loud and noisy toys...however, my Mom found the 1 toy that is TOO loud. For Alex's birthday, my parents got him a Medic Car with flashing lights and a LOUD siren. After the second day, it has been banned to the outside toy bin :)

Team GeoTrax...All Aboard!

Alex's 3rd birthday was noticeably marked with GeoTrax. The basement is filled and expanding with tracks, an airplane, trains, cars, construction equipment, figurines, and people. Alex has great fun and spends a good 30 minutes engrossed in "racing the rails" and going to help people :)

Kelli's Shower

Kelli and Kyle will be getting married May 16th! March 29th, the women got together to shower Kelli with some home helpers.

Birthday Cards

Alex really enjoyed getting birthday cards in the mail! He enjoyed ripping into them and then would (surprisingly) sit and listen to what they said.

How do you explain a 3 year old's birthday morning.... well....messy, engrossed, and excited would start for a good summary :)

Alex was tickled pink with all the phone calls he received today. He had long conversations with most people but he did most of the (incoherent) talking.

He has been very excited about playing trains.

Souvenir

This past weekend, Abuelo and Uncle Rodger went to Vermont. Alex's souvenir, from the great ski trip, was a nifty car creation book. So tonight, for their reunion, they sat down and made a firetruck (surprise, surprise) and a polica car.
