This weekend, as a Valentine's Day present, Abuelos watched Alex while Pat and I went down to visit VA.Friday afternoon we drove down to Chantilly, VA and I had a phone interview. On a positive note, I was sent a Writing Sample for the 2nd round and will hear by mid-week.
Saturday, we went exploring. Pat showed me where he worked in Fairfax and then we explored the cheaper Woodbridge area of DC. This led to a lot of discussion of what sort of life/home we wanted to provide and a lot of us getting lost :) Thankfully the GPS led us back to Chantilly.
Sunday, we say goodbye to high speed Internet and look forward to seeing Alex (and Abuelos) again :) Life should be busy the next few months!
