On Friday, the terrible winds caused all the schools in the county to close. However, Pat and I still had to work. So, with Pat in Fairfax, Alex and I were at home. After a morning of online meetings, emails, and grading, life was a little stressful by the early afternoon. So, I dressed Alex in his warmest winter clothes and sent to outside to the back deck with his sand toys. I brought my laptop over to the door to watch him and attend a meeting. He had a blast outside and then decided to protest... :)

What a great idea! I will have to remember that one, multi-purpose with the sand tools! Alex is getting so big! I hope you are feeling well and your pregnancy is going well, too!
